Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Puzzle progress — which puzzles you have solved, your best solve times, streaks, and achievements. Stored locally on your device.
• Anonymous account — when you first open the app, Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous account with a random ID. No name or email is attached to it.
• Signed-in account (optional) — if you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from that provider. Your email is used only to identify your account and is never shared with third parties or used for marketing.
• Cloud stats — solve counts, solved puzzle IDs, and solve times are written to Cloud Firestore under your account ID (anonymous or signed in) so progress can sync across devices and leaderboards can be computed.
• Leaderboards — your display name, total solves, and per-puzzle solve times are visible to other players. Players without a chosen name appear under a randomly generated guest name. Turn on Hide from Leaderboard in Settings to always appear under the guest name instead of your real name.
• Crash and usage data — Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics collect crash reports and basic usage data (for example, which screens are used) to help us fix bugs and improve the app.

Advertising

The app shows ads via Google AdMob to support free play. AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads. We do not request permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, so on iOS ads are not personalized using your advertising identifier. You can limit ad personalization in your device's settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; Android: Settings > Google > Ads). We do not sell your data.

What we do not collect

• Location data.
• Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone access.
• Payment or financial information.

Third-party services

We use the following services, each with its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase — Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Crashlytics, and Analytics. Google Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob — in-app advertising. How Google uses data in ads.
• Sign in with Google — Google Privacy Policy.
• Sign in with Apple — Apple Privacy Policy.

Data retention and deletion

Local data is removed when you delete the app. If you signed in, you can permanently delete your account, cloud stats, and leaderboard entries at any time from Profile > Delete Account. See Delete Account for other ways to request deletion.

Children's privacy

The app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Sign-in is entirely optional, and the app is fully playable without creating an account.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
